Description: At ArtsConnect, kids will have a summer packed with imaginative, creative and fulfilling art projects. ArtsConnect believes in empowering kids to make a difference through their art. Description: CCAC has a huge selection of week-long arts camps for this summer to get kids out of the house and flexing their creative muscles. During elementary camps, children will become a super hero, spy, princess, or knight, in a week packed with a variety of artistic activities from drawing, acting, writing, and so much more. In “My First Summer Camp,” preschoolers will take part in hands-on projects, playful outdoor moments, and cozy rest times—at a pace perfectly suited for their first camp experience. Description: Morning camps will be centered around building an immersive environment complete with large scale structures that will be created using teamwork! Morning campers will not be taking these large-scale projects home but will have smaller individual projects that will be take home. Afternoon camps will focus more on individual projects and displaying them in a gallery setting instead of an immersive environment. In both morning and afternoon camp, campers will work together to brainstorm ideas and ignite imagination centered around an idea. Sparklers will work with a variety of art materials that may include paint, clay, markers, watercolors, crayons, beads, jewels, plaster, pipe cleaners, fabric, watercolors, paper mache and so much more!
