The Library

The library at CANS is distributed throughout the building - there are shelves by the main entrance, the second floor stairwell, the third floor by the music room, and the auditorium. Students are encouraged to stop by anytime and grab a book. There are no due dates! 

We need lots of help to keep the library up and running.  For questions, email Peter Adams.

Donations

If you have books in good condition that you'd like to donate, you can drop them off in one of the return bins. While we always love donations, it takes work to sort through a lot of books, so keep donations to under 10 at a time. And please make sure the books are relevant to our students.

Classroom Coordinators 2026 -2027
Also known as "room parents" at some schools, classroom coordinators generally assist teachers in addressing volunteer and supply needs at the classroom level, while also helping to plan classroom events and field trips.

Join Us for CANS Culture Fest! Our diverse CANS community is what makes our school such an amazing CREW, and your family is an important part of it! Join CANS students, families, faculty, and staff for an afternoon of food, fellowship, and celebration at our 4th Annual Culture Fest. 📅 October 3, 2026 🕒 3:00-5:00 PM 📍 CANS Culture Fest is a celebration of the traditions, experiences, and cultures that make our community unique. Whether you come to share, learn, connect, or simply enjoy the festivities, your presence helps make this event special. Want to Share Your Culture? Participation is completely optional, but families are invited to bring: A favorite dish that reflects family traditions A cultural activity, game, craft, music, or display Need Support? We want every family who wishes to participate to feel welcome and included. Funds are available to help offset the cost of food, materials, or other Culture Fest contributions. Questions?
