3D PRINTING CLUB

Ages: 9 – 12

Cost: Free with $2 yearly membership

The 3D Printing Club is a place for students to collaborate on creative design and engineering solutions. Our group’s goal is to build a modern-day ‘pinewood racer’. It is open for 4th to 6th graders at Clifton Area Neighborhood School, and it embraces aspects of the 3D printing community, both functional and artistic.

We meet twice a week to learn fundamentals of Tinker CAD (Computer Assisted Design/Drawing) and Object ‘Slicing’ in efforts to print a final product.

Laptops are required for this program.

Cougars Cheer Squad

The CANS Track & Field Program will include instructional practices twice per week after-school for students in grades 4 th -6 th that will prepare them to participate in a track meet at end of the season --- In the event of inclement weather, schools will work with CPS District Athletics Office for cancellation and/or rescheduling of the end of the season meet.

Registration ends 3/28. Space is limited to 20 students and will be determined with a lottery. Carpooling is available for students who would normally take the bus home from school.

Pokémon Trading Cards

Ages: 8+

Registration Deadline: March 13. Draw your favorite pocket monsters and use your imagination to create a unique trading card of your own.

Bollywood Dance for Beginners

Ages: grades 2 – 4

Cost: Free, suggested donation of $30/student

Day: Wednesdays, 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Registration Deadline: March 15. Bollywood dance is a colorful, dynamic, and theatrical dance style that comes from the Indian film industry. It combines multiple forms of classical and non-classical Indian dance and often has an overarching theme. This pay-what-you-can class is beginner-level and a great way for kids to learn about Indian culture, dance, and traditions!
